London vs Paris

Since my first post I've visited a few more cafes (Melbourne style), however I've been diverted by my need to earn an income that has resulted in me moving (at least partially) to London.  Since I will be spending time in both cities and visiting, inevitably, plenty of cafes, I'll start trying to track differences between them and similarities, and also the Melbourne effect to the extent it applies.
